However, the knives of course have come out and the modern day Pharisees have been partying amidst a chorus of "I told you so's" - "We knew all along" and other such predictable cliches. They then attempt to use Todd's 'Fall' to write off the whole thing as a total enemy deception.
We have read various articles accusing Todd of 'violence' from the pulpit and actions likely to bring discredit to the name of Jesus. We have seen all sorts of 'doctored' and out of context clips featured on
U-TUBE. But remember: we were there! We ministered for two weeks at Lakeland and saw nothing but people healed! Sure there were some unconventional things that took place, but how 'conventional' is rubbing mud in someone's eyes, or for that matter walking on water!
Have the people accusing Todd of violence never heard of Smith Wigglesworth? The man was known as 'The Apostle of Faith'.
He once kicked a dead baby off the stage and it came back to life. He would frequently punch people and they were invariably healed. Some from the very jaws of death. If you've not heard of him then I urge you to obtain one of the many books available about this remarkable brother. And his leading was most definately The Holy Spirit.
What was it Jesus said about 'Him without sin casting the first stone?'
