As you have entered this page I am assuming you are already a commited Christian. - [If you're not - that's ok - and I apologise if I am talkng about things that don't make much sense to you - but by all means read on] -
Whilst Erika and I travel all over the world ministering mainly to believers, the main purpose of this site is to reach the unsaved out there in a lost and hurting world.
One of the worst things we have experienced in our ministry has been to be 'attacked' by other Christians! - This sadly is an all too common experience and serves only to divide the body of Christ.
When one is preaching the gospel of The Kingdom - sin - salvation and redemption it really is not helpful to have some militant - [yet well meaning] - brother or sister laying in to you over some percieved point of doctrinal difference.
We have had it happen in meetings. And often the result is that the very people we were trying to reach, walked away in disgust at these 'Christian' people arguing amongst themselves.
That of course is just so wrong.
Yet you'd be surprised at just how many people do it. Doctrinal differences
should be discussed in private!
When it comes to the salvation of the lost - what difference does it make if you're a 'pre' - 'mid' or 'post' tribulationist?
Or whether you believe in a literal six day creation or think that it took place
over thousands of years? - [actually I can prove to you it's literal - but then if you disagreed . . . . .] See my point?
Of course we must 'study to show ourselves approved - workmen rightly dividing the Word of God' - but not squabble about any perceived differences. Especially not when it may be damaging the faith of a 'newborn' - or worse still putting off an enquiring heart.
In 1 Corinthians Paul specifically speaks about this sort of thing - we must not be divided by 'minor' issues of doctrine.
Christ - and Him crucified! One body - One Spirit - One Faith - One Lord.
So with this in mind, we would humbly ask you to refrain from 'attacking' us, in any of our forthcoming Forums.
Should you disagree with anything we say, please pray for us instead, and email us via 'Contact Us' button on the Home page.
May God Bless you.
Nick n' Erika.
