God created the world so that there is actually enough food and resources for everyone to be fed.
The problem lies with man's free will. In simple terms - greed.
The 'wealth' of the world is held by less than 1% of the entire population.
When God created man he gave him this thing called 'free will'- it's what allows you move and 'be' in an 'independant' fashion. Our fee will is a precious thing indeed. Imagine for a moment what you would be like without free will. Literally - waiting for the next 'set of instructions'.
Nothing more than a 'robot'. Seriously, think about and understand that concept.
Free will gives us independance of thought and action.
We must also remember - it was this very 'free will' that caused man to fall. It was what brought about our separation from God.
Right in the beggining there was only one rule! - "Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil"
That was it. The sum total of 'The Law'. Everything was provided - life was idyllic. Yet man's free will chose to disobey God.
It is obvious that the awful state the world is in, is due to the way in which man has used his free will. As previously stated - God made adequate provision for all to have enough to eat, and it is man's selfishness, greed and arrogance that has brought us to our present worldwide situation.
For a long time I puzzled about this issue. I said "Lord - why did you give man this free will, when you knew what the outcome would be?"
What the Holy Spirit revealed to me was amazing - and - totally answered the question to my complete satisfaction.
I will illustrate it this way: Someone could put a gun to your head and make you do just about anything - except love them . Love is a matter of choice. You can't be made to do it, it's something you choose to do via your free will.
It just wouldn't work would it? - This person pointing a gun at you and saying "Love me, love me!" - No, you have to make a personal choice to love someone - and that choice comes from your free will!
Without free will, there could be no love. Free will 'validates' love.
If God 'made' us love Him - then it wouldn't be love - it is only love when we choose to do it! Likewise with our relationships with one another.
Therefore, God, having provided all the resources to adequately feed, clothe and house all people - gave us free will - and by means of this free will mankind has, for the most part, failed to love and care for others.
God will not go against the free will He has given to each individual - He desires us to love Him and to love one another. And as we have seen - we must have free will for that to be possible .
So in essence: The reason people are starving in the world is basically the unloving use of free will by those who could in actuality feed them.It is not God not caring.
It is man's greed and disdain for his fellow human beings. God is love and has provided for all.
