Am I really 'Saved'?

If you prayed the prayer from your heart! Then you have received salvation.The Bible is God's word and Jesus is The Truth. The Bible says that 'If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised The Lord Jesus Christ from the dead - you shall be saved' - [Romans Ch 10 v 9]

Again: For whosoever shall call upon the name of The Lord shall be saved' - [Romans Ch 10 v 13]

Also: ' Whoever confesses me before men, I will confess him before the angels of God' - [Luke Ch 12 v 8]

You have no doubt heard the term 'Born again Christian' - Well that is exactly what you now are!
The Bible says you were 'dead' in your sins - but purely on your acceptance of Jesus and what He did on the cross, you have been forgiven and 're-born' in your spirit. - [John Ch 3 v3-7]

Everything you did in the past has been 'wiped away'- as if it never happened. You have passed from death to life - from the darkness to the light. And from here on you need to learn how to 'walk in the spirit'.

At this present moment you are a spiritual 'baby'. You have just been 'born' in the spirit - you need to grow.
The way to grow is:
1. Talk to God
2. Read -[feed on] - God's word -The Bible
3. Turn away from what you know is wrong.
4. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to a Bible believing fellowship.

The devil is your enemy - but the Holy Spirit now lives in you and is way stronger. It is the Holy Spirit - the Comforter - who will lead and guide you and help you to 'walk' with Jesus.
All you now have to do is to be willing to learn and grow.

Not everybody has a 'bells, whistles and fireworks' experience when they come to Jesus. If you didn't,don't worry. For most people it is a sense of quiet peace and release.

But there is only one Holy Spirit. And He has now come to live inside of you. He is the same Holy Spirit who lives inside of all believers and He will distribute His power to each person in different ways.
It doesn't make one person any better than another. We are all one in Jesus.
